Upgrading from a G1, Nexus Two on the way?

Hey guys, love the site, keep up the good work.

I've had my T-Mobile G1 since way back in december '08 and I feel like its about time I got a nice hardware upgrade. I was thinking about getting the Nexus One since I already had T-Mobile but Google has recently discontinued it. So, what should I do? Is there a Nexus Two on the horizon that I should hold out for, should I switch carriers and grab a Droid X, or other?

Thanks.

nope. no nexus 2. get either an Evo or the Galaxy s series. or wait till something better comes out. get a droid if you want but the locked bootloader feels like an FU from moto so my FU right back to them is not giving them my money.

Google has already said there will not be a nexus 2. The Droid X is a great phone, I love mine. Yes the bootloader is locked so no custom ROMS, but we have root and this thing is super fast. The only complaint I have at all with this phone is the speaker volume and I demand a lot from my phones. I think you would be very happy with the droid X.

Are you happy with T-Mobile? The price on T-Mo is definitely better than VZW. You could always go for the Samsung Vibrant on T-Mo, buy a used N1, or register as an Android Developer ($25) and you can buy the phone from Google for $529.

I agree if. you want to stick with t mobile get the galaxy s phone, they are really nice. If you don't need to stay with t mobile verizon coverage is great, you get the nfl app for streaming audio for free, and IMHO the droid x is a lot better and the screen is awesome.

Hmm, guess I'll be switching over to the Droid X then. Though I may go try out the galaxy at the store since I wouldnt have to change providers.

Thanks for the advice.
