Hello,
I had an 8530 BlackBerry Curve. It was my 5th one so I upgraded to an HTC EVO. A neat phone to be sure.
All 860 of my contacts that were on the BB8530 before it met its end on the ground. But, I synced the contacts somewhat regularly, so I have a BB backup file IPD that has the contacts.
Except, without the BB, it seems there are no export options.
MagicBerry is a neat program, but I can only export one contact at a time.
ABC Amber is also a good program, but I have the same problem.
I put the IPD file on a thumbdrive and took it to Sprint, where they were able to transfer 50 of the 860 contacts with their machine. I tried multiple IPD files, and the lady tried multiple times.
Are all BlackBerry users screwed (RIMed?) out of their contacts if they choose to upgrade to a phone that is actually intuitive?
Help!
