Root Velocity 1.2 Official Unofficial Release Information

Heyas!

Long time no see, I have been (as usual) very busy. I made the mistake of selling my Ally to a friend that needed a VZW phone, and since then I have not had a means to finish 1.2 to my liking.

One of my beta testers came to me today, which was surprising (aside from not doing much development, I also have been keeping away from the forums and IRC) he told me we had a problem, the problem being that the 1.2 release candidates had been compromised and leaked out. Well, looking back at a calendar here I am beginning to feel very guilty as 1.2 has been in development for so long, and worse the RC I made has been ready for months.

The ROM is near complete, there is a minor cosmetic issue I am trying to tackle and I need to get creative with mirroring (as my internet has been shut off for almost an entire month)

But - here is the line you read through all that crap to see; I will be releasing the Velocity 1.2 rom if not tonight, tomorrow. As for future releases this is not something I can take on myself, I have limited time and no devices to test with. I will however maintain the scripts as best as I can.

I just want to say, i'm very excited for Velocity to finally be coming out, but it saddens me that it had to happen this way. Thank you for all your hard work, savox, Trident, and the rest of the Velocity team. It's been a pleasure working with you. You've taught me so much. =)
 
It is sad that it must be released this way, but I am looking forward to seeing what we've got.
But i'm pretty sure it isn't as fast as the rom I'm on ;)
 
I would just like that say that #teamvelocity had its moments and that the roms you guys made were legit. Thanks to you guys , you brought the ally alive , really. I would donate but i don't have a job. haha anyways its sad too see that Velocity 1.2 has to be released like this,but hey its being released at lease. savoxis, thank you man
 
One would wonder... what kind of rom would of been developed if we had the chance to work together at the time
 
I'm excited. I'm ready for an update even though I don't really know why... just need something different. I still have extremely high hopes for rgocal's deal.
 
sent from my computer wondering how you got 1.2 if savoxis hasn't released it yet? anyway... will patiently wait for the thread of new rom!
