[Verizon] Does Swype work with JellyBean?

I think I want to cry...

I can't live without swype but I want JB :/

Web searches haven't looked promising, has anyone got it working on JB?
 
i'm on 2.5 and it has been working fairly well

to the guys who say it has been working fine, have you run into situations where you've had to manually space because it won't enter a space for you?

that is my one complaint, it works perfect in messaging and a few other places but in some browser text boxes it will not auto space in spite of the box that pops up that says that it will
 
It has NEVER autospaced in a browser text box for me. Oftentimes i will use the browser box as my search box for items, and a space would be needed. I just assumed that since it's primary use is for web addresses that it was designed NOT to autospace (as that would be a negative if i was trying to swype a web address).

All other text input fields it does autospace though.

yeah, it has never spaced in the web address box for me either when i used it to search

it used to space in text boxes on websites before JB, but now, if i'm on my cell on this site, posting a response I have to enter spaces, whereas I didn't have to on ICS
 
I can't live without swype and I have been using it on JD's Jelly Belly 2.4. I have never had the issue of not autospacing until now. It's really annoying. The only time it did it on ICS was in the web address/URL box in the browser.

But now it doesn't auto space like as I'm typing this response, I have to hit space every time. This blows.
 
I am typing this with Swype right now and auto spacing works fine. Strange. Is there a setting that you have turned off maybe?

If you go to Language & Input in your settings, then go to your Swype settings, there is a check box for Auto Spacing under preferences (as well as auto capitalizatoin). Might want to check that.
 
Yeah those have been and are checked. I'm going to uninstall, reboot and reinstall. Maybe that will work. I have a modded version of swype that I got before they did the ICS update. Even it would not autospace.
