[Verizon] soft brick from moving to 4.4

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place. I believe I have soft bricked my Gnex as a result of trying to put on baldiwnguy77's 4.4 shiny ROM.

When I got through to the zip install stage for the ROM using Team Win Recovery Project it said that no MD5 file was found, then set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/!ReadyToFlash/Root_F

end result that my installation failed, and my phone now stays on the Google logo with the lock icon.

Phone was previously unlocked and rooted. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

You have to use clockworkmod recovery to install baldiwnguy77's ROM. That's what I did and it worked fine. However, it does seem to have some issues still, Ive had some random reboots and freezes today. But other than that it works pretty well.

Thanks! When I hook up my phone to my computer now it does not recognize it and allow me to put in the new zip file. How do I get the ADB connection back up and running?

I think you gotta power off the phone then hold volume up, volume down and the power button, or maybe its just volume down and power, I don't remember. But doing that should bring up the boot loader screen and from there the ADB should be able to communicate with the phone.

Welcome to the forums, alvin7464!
I assume you have the Verizon variant?
Firebird is correct that you have to use CWM. Do you have a backup you can restore while in TWRP?

Hi. Have you activated the developers option on your phone? If not go to settings-Phone inf-.version. tab 7 times on that and you will become a developer.
Go to developers setting and activate the debugging setting in USB.
Reboot when starting again accept the option to permanent recognition of the device.
