Root Verzion sent me a text...

Apparently Android 2.2 had recently been sent to my phone. I guess they never got the memo, I've been running 2.2 for awhile now

My fiance got this text today. He received the actual OTA for 2.2 over a week ago. And he's not rooted. So I think it is just going out to everyone.

I never got it, but I assume that he got it because he's the account holder, not me. It still amused me when he gets the text, reads it and just says "no sh!t Verizon, figured that out over a week ago!" LOL

yea I got it today too... I have been rooted since unrevoked:forever came out... thought it was funny since I wasn't even running a stock anything... I have the 09.01 radio so I thought it might skip over me

I got it to. It just has to be a text to account holders. I did check to see if any updates were available and it didn't show anything trying to push to my phone.

I got the text about 3:30 yesterday afternoon and just deleted it.
I did the 8/26 leaked RUU on Aug. 28th and never looked back.
