How do you use the video chat on the Galaxy s2, I've use the talk app and it just tell me it available, and can you use talking to a IPhone video chat

Sorry, I didn't read carefully enough that IOS devices will ALSO need to have have Tango installed... I'm actually looking to connect to IOS users with FACETIME without having to go through SKYPE nor TANGO... If I have to through 3 party to get this why would I choose Tango over SKYPE?

Going to uninstall Tango now, don't really need a 3rd service...

And Facetime only works over WiFi. Tango works over 3G and Wifi.

IMHO a much better solution is Tango when compared to Facetime based on what networks it will work on.

Thanks but SKYPE works now with both WIFI and 3G/HPSA as well... So SKYPE over Tango right?

SKYPE = Big Corporatation - Microsoft, better/faster updates, more established user base
Tango = Small independent - relatively new, not as many adaptors

???

Right/wrong...?
 
Either one works for video chat. Your choice, your call.

My point was Facetime is only iOS to iOS. There are other 3rd party apps that allow video chat hardware/OS independent.

generally speaking, yes. But Skype was once the size of Tango so you shouldn't automatically count out Tango just because its smaller than skype. Besides, if Tango works better for you, then use it. Dont follow what others use just because. Use whatever works best on your phone and network.

Hi Dynasty,

Sorry I guess I should have phrased my original reply a bit better... Since SKYPE is *ESTABLISHED* and ALL of my friends are already on SKYPE, it makes sense for me to continue to use it. I only d/l Tango because I mis-read the OP and thought that I could connect to FACETIME users....

For me, SKYPE only becaue of my existing contacts over 100+ users, I can't asked them ALL to switch over to Tango... :D I can beg, but I won't stoop that low...

But that means IOS buddies will need to have Qik too right (y/N)? I'm glad your friends/family are willing to add a different client, I'm having a devil of a time asking my contacts to use another client and most have been begrudgingly switching over to SKYPE...

I can see the EYES rolling now when they have to switch to yet another client like Qik or Tango... *sigh*

You've got better *contacts* than me... :) All I get are "I told you not to go to Android..." "See you should have stuck with iphone..."

Honestly, if the girls weren't so HOT, I'd have drop them... LOL!
