Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Display 1X as 1X instead of "3G"

I know this seems to be a common trend with sprint phones, but nobody seems to know how to fix it.

I can't stand the way they market their 1XRTT ("2G") as "3G". I know technically it is 3G, but the speed difference is significant!

Any fixes?? I have deodexed and rooted V7. I want it to say either 2G or 1X in the status bar...

Best bet would be xposed framework which is compatible with Stock V7. I do not remember what the Module was called though GravityBox I think.

You will need to decompile LGSystemUI.apk and change the 3G images if xposed modules don't work for you. Unfortunately with the F3, things that work fine on one vm-f3 doesn't mean it will on another. Our phone is really weird that way.:2in1:
