Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Just installed oDexed v6. now duplicates!

installed the v6 odexed ROm. (got rid of that assinine v6 update message. )
resetup everything from scratch.. including the sd card int mem swap..

now everything on my SD card is duplicated on the system.

Storage shows 14.5 gb free in both internal and external..

its the same script i used in v5.. wtf went wrong??
 
Make sure that you do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset in cwm. Also Wipe Dalvik Cache under advanced.

If need be, do it again, and then reflash the rom.

did what you said. wiped to factory. wiped dalvik.. no dice

did it again and reinstalled the Odexed v6.. now i'm back to scratch, installed the script to swap sd. and its doing the same thing..

PLUS: now google play doesnt show my device in it.. so i'm in a worse pickle then before.

i shoulda never said anything.

Your having weird issues. Run the unbrick guide to get you straight again. My understanding is that there is a new update for the phone coming any day now.
 
got it to work with google play again by uninstaling the "App2External_SD (Fixed Duplicate files)" mod ... but now my issue is making this mod WORK. otherwise everthing is dumping into the sdcard0 folder instead of the externalsd (which i still dont understand why they didnt just mount the sdcard on the SDCARD.)
 
that unbrick guide is so confusing.. i dont wanna screw this up more than it is.. i just wanted that damn v6 update notice to go away..

Do you have a second partition that's formatted ext4? You could just use Link2SD and have all the apps you want. I use a 5 GB second partition on external_sd for Link2SD.

I used this mod for a while. Never came across issues like yours when I did use it, but I didn't like the swap, as I found it confusing to keep track of things.

If you play epic games like Modern Warfare, use GL2SD to send the big obb files to external_sd's main partition. With these two linking apps, I deleted the swap mod for good.
