Help Vodafone UK - Magic - Hotmail Settings

Hi, im very new to this phone Android thing.
I got a little problem! well 2!!!

Basically i got a new Magic phone from my bro, Vodaphone UK but im on O2.
So the 1st problem is how do I set up O2 wap and gprs and stuff?

2nd problem is how do i set up hotmail. I have a Hotmail Plus account which worked perfectly on my iPhone but now when i set up email it does not work!!! I tried manually setting up POP3 but nothing!

I could not get yahoo to work even on K-9 so luckily I have a gmail account so now all is going to gmail, just forward your hotmail to gmail, simple really, and then slowly advise your friends to send to your gmail and soon all your mails would have migrated to gmail!

I did not like the ads on yahoo and free hotmail, just too much distraction and slows everything to a halt.

thanks i sorted it!
without valid 3G settings email does not work even if wifi is on
now that o2 settings are in email has logged into hotmail
