Voice recorder?

Does the Eris have a voice recorder or do you need to download an app?
I'd like to be able to record class lectures if possible but if it does have a recorder is it limited to short memos?

You would need to download an app , on the Android market I would suggest "Voice recorder" as it's free , comes with a record widget {start recording from your home screen} and you can send the recordings made via email too

The Eris comes with a voice recorder built in. It's on my Eris and I never downloaded one?

It's simply called "Voice Recorder" under your app list.
