Root Voodoo madness?

Well, seems I'm back. Again. Life has been throwing way too many curve balls at me lately.

So, I got a Samsung Captivate recently, and loaded CM 10.1 on it. Brilliant, and beautiful. I found Apollo music player is THE best player so far and I'm loving it. However, since it's a Samsung, it is loaded with voodoo sound drivers. And MAN does it make ALL the difference in the world when it comes to quality. It really brings music to life, especially with studio grade headphones problem is, I would love to get voodoo on the Triumph. Either a port has already been made and I'm too dumb to find it on these forums, or this needs to happen. lol. Any insight would greatly be appreciated.

It's not the drivers that make your Samsung sound so much better... it's the WM8994 audio hub made by Wolfson. The Voodoo drivers just make better (proper) use of it.

Since our lowly Triumph has no such hardware, we're stuck with 2nd rate (3rd rate imo) audio quality.

Forementioned was built from the ground up given my form is crack reality wise and not what is perceived on a forum making Beats Audio possible on any phone literally

I've tried beats and am definitely not a fan... don't like their cans either. The Triumph's lack of sound quality is due to its hardware limitations. EQ has its place, for sure, but to my ears makes poor audio quality sound like eq'd poor audio quality.

Exactly how I felt. Tried the beats addon, thought it sucked. Took it out. Have not found a good EQ yet that makes the triumph sound better.

True, not as good. Your right, it is the hardware. Still, sounds beautiful on my S3 though
