Walking mate has been renamed to "Pedometer" after note3 was upgraded to Lollipop.

Last weekend, I upgraded my Note3 from 4.4.2 to Lollipop. I found that the stock app, Walking mate, has been renamed to "Pedometer". Walking mate was included in S Health.

The question is the Pedometer seems not more convenient than Walking mate.

On home screen of Pedometer, we have to open menu at first in order to start or pause counting steps. Do you think so?

Was that an over the air update to Lollipop from your cellular provider or did you flash a ROM? I haven't charged up or turned on my Note 3 in awhile.

Yes, the upgrading was OTA from my carrier. In general, the Lollipop works fine for me till now except that Pedometer is not good as Walking mate.
