Warm whites on moto x Display?

Well just got my moto x yesterday and honestly its a great Lil phone. The size is perfect for me for what I use my 2nd line for. However I'm coming from some phones that don't use an Amoled display and also use an iphone 5s as my daily driver and am pretty used to cool bright whites on my display. However the whites on my moto x seem really warm, not like really yellow or anything but the whites are just a lot warmer then what I remember on my GS3 or other Amoled screen phones.

How's your display fellow forum members?

I actually prefer a warm tint, but I would say it certainly is saturated and warm. Holding it up to a Nexus 4 (LCD-IPS) it was a bit crazy how blue-ish the white was on the N4.

I think the S3 used an RBGB pentile subpixel so you ended up with a bit more blue. The Moto X uses a more traditional RGB subpixel (with a double bar blue). Which is better is a matter of debate and somewhat subjective though.

Compared to say the Nexus 5 (LCD-IPS), the Moto X is noticeably on the warmer side, and much more saturated. The N5 is clearly has better color "correctness". But all things considered it's still preference.

I dont know much about the iPhone screens except that I think they are (LCD-IPS) and hence are likely cooler, but more accurate color representation, just like the N5.

IMHO, as AMOLEDs go, the Moto X has a fantastic one. (Of course they also had to use an AMOLED to save power for Active Notifications).
