Warranty Replacement Problems?

I dropped my six hour old Incredible on the 11th. It was in the Verizon high gloss silicone case but I guess the screen hit something and shattered.

I immediately filed a warranty claim and was told that they didn't have any in stock to send. The phone is still usable, but the entire top half of the screen is virtually unusable because it's SO shattered. I've got a screen protector to keep it from falling apart, but I'm starting to feel the glass "give" when I very gently tap the area where it's most broken.

I *STILL* haven't received a replacement, eleven days later. I check the Asurion site every day. I know it's an issue with them not being able to get screens, but when does this become an excessive amount of time to wait?
