Please help, new to the s6 and was wondering, I recently lost my brother and I've some videos I've filmed etc on this phone, with the note 3 I'd use my HDMI cable to watch on my tv, what do I need to do with the s6 because my cable doesn't work on this phone and I've loads of films to watch..

Since these movies have substantial personal and sentimental value, I suggest you back them up immediately on your PC or on the cloud. It might be easier to then hook up your PC (laptop) using an HDMI cable. Best of luck and sincere sympathies.

Please don't ignore Snakeyesk m's advice. You really, really need to back up those movies. There are just too many situations where you could lose them. You phone could be stolen, or you misplace it, or something happens that requires you to do a Factory Restore, wiping away your personal data.

If you don't use a USB cable to transfer files to computer/laptop, there are really good wireless transfer apps that use WiFi connectivity on your phone. Then you just use a web browser on your computer/laptop to connect to your phone. Airdroid is really popular, I've read good reviews about WiFi File Transfer too. (Airdroid is not just a file transfer app but also functions as a remote management app. File Transfer is more focused on just being for file transfers.)

If you prefer to use an online, cloud-based backup/syncing service there are plenty to choose from. Just some suggestions -- Dropbox has been a long time staple in this category, Google Drive more or less just integrates itself in if you rely on Google's services a lot, OneDrive is Microsoft's online storage service.
