1. NM8SPRM2

HTC model: SAPP310

Most likely the Fender special version of the myTouch 3g for tmo.

Could it be Passion? not likely it runs on gsm/wcdma, but model is so close to Sapphire: SAPP300

2. NM8PB81100

HTC model: PB81100

it's the HD2. search the model number in this document if you don't believe me: http://member.america.htc.com/download/web_materials/QSG/HTC_HD2/091017_Leo_HTC_WWE_QSG.pdf

NM8PB74100

HTC model: PB74100

this is the touch2. http://member.america.htc.com/downl...HTC_Touch2/Quick_Start_Guide_HTC_Touch2_A.pdf

3. NM8CKV

HTC model: TATTOO

4. NM8PB00100

HTC model: desire, droid eris

5. NM8PB74120

HTC model: pb74120

EDIT: This is ATT's version of the Imagio

I think this pretty much discredits the rumor that the Passion was "snuck" through the FCC.

Actually it gives credit to that rumor since you only looked for submissions that match "HTC", whereas if they wanted to sneak it in they would have done it under another company name that they own or created for this purpose.

This is the only phone that could be the passion. This model number is very close however to the touch2, which is a wm phone. Other than that there really isn't any info on this one.

Thanks for the info. Here is one comparison of the "mystery device" from the SAR Report at https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

Make / Model / Battery
Motorola / Droid / 1400 mAh
HTC / Droid Eris / 1300 mAh
Samsung / Omnia II / 1440 mAh(?)
HTC / PB74120 / 1.38 / 0.450 / 1100 mAh

I should note that I am coming from a point of relative ignorance about electronic engineering. But based on the rumors of this phone, e.g. Snapdragon processor & huge screen, wouldn't the battery a little small? Is there anything else in the configuration of this device for the SAR report that would hint at what it could be?

Interesting read. The mystery device also has a temporary confidentiality request that expires on 1/31/2010, certainly giving a credence to it that whatever it is, it will be released soon.

EDIT: I took a look at the test report, and it is a GSM phone.

Most def. a GSM phone. It mentions WCDMA which is ATT & T-mob's 3G band. Interesting though given that 1/31/2010 date what they are coming out with. My best bet would be a Hero for ATT

Its looks like the Imagio for ATT then. the Verizon Imagio is PB74100 and it has identical specs as the PB74120:
