what is the best new 10"+ tablet out?

I'm looking to purchase a new tablet I currently have a nexus 10 that I purchased 2 years ago. I'm really happy with it but I like getting new gadgets. I just haven't been able to keep up with the latest tablets. Looking for a WiFi only tablet and I want to spend around $500.

I'm pretty happy with the Galaxy note 10.1 (2014 edition). Smaller, thinner and fairly snappy even with all the Samsung crap and TouchWiz.

I've been looking at the Note 10.1 and like it but are there any other suggestions?

I second Samsung products. I have had Archos, Acer and Samsung tablets and the Samsung just are better quality in my experience.
