Accessories What makes the Turbo charger USB cable special?

With the Droid Turbo came a charging cable and wall adapter. I found that if I use a different USB cable in the wall adapater I do not get the turbo charge. However, the cable that came with the phone is too short. I want a 6 foot USB cable.

How can I ensure the USB cable I am buying will allow my phone to turbo charge when using the turbo wall adapter?

I bought 2 generic 9ft cables and they work. It didn't list any specs on the package.

I've noticed that if the plug isn't positioned correctly in the phone, it will charge 'normally' rather than turbo.

Sorry, I realize that isn't much of a help, but I don't think it matters.
