Root What next?

So with the help of several people here, I have dowgraded to ZVB, rooted the phone with CWM, am using the "plague kernel" (I keep telling people I know that that should be the title of a GMO food horror movie), and got rid of all the bloatware I didn't want, and am overclocking my 1 GhZ processor at 1.8 GhZ.
The phone is pretty fast, though I am not necessarily impressed with the quality of the reception, and I have a question.

1: Is there any reason to flash it with one of the roms? Like gingerbread extreme? (I saw one one the mods and felt the deaths head skull wasn't my kind of theme) I mean will it make my phone even faster, or make a big change in battery life, or suddenly make me 20 years younger and rich and handsome?
Is there a reason to use one of these roms?

I flashed GSE+Plague onto mine when it was first released... since then, my hair is starting to grow back, and my beard doesn't have as much grey.
The women are somewhat impressed, but my bank account hasn't grown any fatter.


I don't know if it's just me, or my phone, but GSE does seem to run a bit faster and smoother compared to stock LG. (even @1GHz... but I generally keep it around 1.3GHz) Without personal experience with them, I can't comment on the other ROMs.
