Root Where is Froyo 2.2.1 Zip?

I'm trying to root another ally, mine was stolen. The first time I followed

[GUIDE] FroYo 2.2.1 for Root Users! (Updated 3/3/2011 at 3:40 pm EST - NOW EASIER THAN EVER!)

Now the links for froyo are broken. Please help, I can't live without root.

Did you get the above guide to work for you? I went through the steps and when I get to the LG Updater it says there is an error and can not update the phone.
