Which Calendar

The stock calendar that comes with MG, is it the Google calendar or one Motorola includes?

I'm just curious on which one it is.

It looks identical to googles and syncs up to your google account but its not the google calendar app from the playstore cause you can still download that on your own. Id suppose the gpe edition would have googles own though. The only difference i see between the 2 is for the widget motos has a black bar at the top and googles has a blue one.

Yes, I noticed it wasn't the one from the Play Store and that what got me to thinking about it. I guess it is part of Motorola's stock apps.

Anyone with a Google Play Edition know if it comes with the Calendar from the Play Store? I'm hoping that the Moto G Google Play Edition doesn't have the AOSP apps that Google has already replaced. Like the old gallery, messaging, and calendar apps.

I know the gpe doesnt have gallery it uses photos. It also doesnt have messaging it uses hangouts. It has the nexus camera and also it uses googles calendar as i think the regular g has it own calendar because it has moto assist. In meeting mode moto assist will pull meetings off the calendar.
