Root who is get it high speed in mobile ip weird

ive heard Data 3G is now throttled to 600KBPS on mobile IP for NY/NJ, i live in NJ which is why this sounds interesting..

Ive messed too much with my PPPConfig settings and stuff.
I revert to mobile IP and i get data issues, i cant try. Im curious about it since yesterday.
 
ya i wish. nothing close to that and i go from harrisburg pa to trenton nj to atlanticcity nj to five + miles off shore on a regular basis and its never gotten over 130 bps d/l any where. o yea and to bluefield virgina and its all been 1x and no higher in bps. tried 228 prl updates in all those locations. and forget about west virgina totally.

If you know of a released rom for this phone i'll bet i've tried it.and it hasn't gotten any better. it has to be the carrier throttle. if anyone can get better , TEACH ME. metro is always keeping me wanting, and i'm always trying to get better data with no luck.

Through cricket, in Portland OR (which Im rarely there), I'l get speedtests of about 2Mbit on stock. Probably your carrier throttling your bandwidth due to excessive tethering (not by you per-say, but by MPCS customers in general) perhaps?
