Help Why is my phone losing my music?

I have been noticing something rather annoying that is happening with my unrooted, unmodded LG G2 with stock music app...

About once a week I want to listen to some random song I haven't heard in a while or even one I listen to often... it's gone. Poof... vanished.

I have NOT deleted the song, it just drops off. It will not show up under file manager apps, or when plugged in to PC. It doesn;t matter if I have had it my collection for YEARS or if I downloaded it from Amazon last month... gone.

I have had this G2 since January and I lost about 20 of my ~800 songs, never files, never videos, never pictures, just songs... about one a week.

Any idea what is happening?

Last night I discovered that all my music is gone from my phone. I have connected it to my computer today and did a search and they are no longer in storage on my phone. I do not have an SD card. I did get a message a couple days ago that an HTC update had been applied without any initiation from myself. I hope someone knows what could have caused this as I had ALOT of music !

This is an LG forum. You would have better luck in an HTC forum as your problem is not related to that of
the OP.
