Why should I keep the HOX over S3? Convince me.

The HOX doesn't have TouchWiz, enough said!

Also, I think the screen is better.

The camera is better.

HTC are better at delivering updates than Samsung.

I don't think they're worlds apart but I think it's mostly software based for me and I prefer Sense.

I don't play games on my phone but I'll take your word on this.
I've just played about 30 minutes of Dead Trigger on my HOX and the graphics are amazing!

Why are you looking to go to the S3 anyway, what do you think is better about it?

The home screen button is flush with the glass and has to be depressed into it (a PITA for my fat fingers).

The back button and multi-task button are reversed. When holding it in my right hand (since I'm right handed) its a PITA to hit the back button. Its placement on the HOX seems better to me.

I don't like Touchwiz (I'm using Nova anyway, but to me Sense > Touchwiz).

The GSIII feels flimsey and breakable compared to the HOX.

Its difficult to see the SGSIII screen in the bright daylight. LCD FTW!

Just a few of my thoughts.

I have a GS3 and IMHO would say,
1, The screen is amazing on the GS3, maybe if you enlarged a picture 100 times and compared it to the HOX you may see a SLIGHT difference.
2, The camera on the GS3 is Brilliant, and according to most reviews betters the HOX. The video is also smoother.!
3, I`ve had my GS3 for 3 Weeks now and there has been 2 very good Updates from Samsung already.!
4, TouchWiz takes a bit of getting used to after Sense but it is no better or worse.

Both are great phones, Cheers.

I sold my HOX for a gs3, and have 0 regrets. The biggest thing for me was the fact it does multitasking right. It doesn't reload whatever you switch back to. It goes back to exactly where you were at.

Sent from my Marble White Samsung Galaxy S III on at&t.

Oh, and this:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but cm9 has not come to at&t HOX officially, and that's the HOX we have here in the USA. The development scene is already better for the gs3.

I know not everyone uses 3rd party roms, but to me it's fun, and gsiii has more support for it than the HOX due to the amount of carriers it's available for and how identical the phones are from one to another.

Personally i think it comes down to personal preference,
There are plenty of +'s and -'s for each phone

I much prefer using sense to using the GS3 one so i went for the HOX

I believe the new TouchWiz on the GS3 is much improved, First time for me and cant say its any better or worse than Sense. It really is personal choice.

p.s The battery on the GS3 lasts ages and being able to use memory cards is also a bonus..!!

Sgs 3 feels like a toy the one x feels more solid, feels a better build quality & if has a superior screen.
Go to a phone shop & compare the screens side by side when turned on, you should be convinced the one x is better then.

Touch Wiz vs. Sense and Screen were the kickers for me.

I would love to have expandable memory but really with AudioGalaxy, Play Music, and Spotify I really just don't need that much storage in an LTE world. Battery is a non issue for my particular lifestyle as alas I'm not ever days away from a charger. Heck, I've got a solar one in the ride if need be.

And I'll admit...the Ego factor. I think everyone and their brother is headed for the S3 based on specs alone. I'll enjoy having that unibody construction and something a little different.

Don't think you can go wrong with either handset. I just hope HTC keeps up with the updates as my phone is enjoying quite a few quirks at the moment.

Both phones have theirs advantages over each other. For me its

HOX: Beats audio, 99 pictures in burst mode (20 with GSIII), design, Sense UI (although TW is getting better), Super LCD screen (non pentile), Rear camera, history of better support and faster updates.

SG III: Feel in hand, S Voice, Picture in picture feature, Voice actions in photo, removable battery, SD slot, bigger battery, ff camera (1.9 mp; HOX only has 1.3) and photo share.

As you can see there's alot of features (software wise) that the GS 3 has that the One X doesn't. HTC does have their own voice commands in the works but I'm not sure its going to make it to this phone. With all those extra features on the galaxy, I still feel that updating the device in a timely manner is the most important feature on an android. That is the main reason why I like HTC over Samsung.

Remember this is my opinion
