Help Wifi just dropping out when phone not in use

Just recently, I've noticed when i click phone on that my wifi is not connected. I thought maybe it was my office wifi, but I have HTC one right next to Maxx. I just clicked both power buttones and my Razr was in 4G and HTC is showing full bars wifi.

Once screen is powered on, it will connect to wifi eventually. I noticed at my parent's house over Thanksgiving that it kept dropping wifi connection also. Normally I wouldn't worry, but it's draining battery quicker. I also have "Wifi matic" app that turns off 4G when on wifi. So sometimes it shows no wifi or 4G.

Kind of annoying. Didn't have this problem 2 months ago.

Do you have Keep wifi on during sleep set to Never in your advanced wifi settings? Also I would suggest getting rid of that 4g app and just set a smart action for it...

I have keep wifi on during sleep to "always".

I have turned of the feature that turns off 4G, but that didn't help. Mainly got that app so that it turns off wifi when i'm not on known wifi and am on 3g or 4g.

I tried smartactions. What would smartactions be set as? if i select known wifi's, i can't select or deselect "set mobile data". And I don't think I can disable wifi when on 3g or 4g.

I just reset the work router to see if that helps.

I thought the reset of router worked until i just looked down and phone went from wifi to 3G. My HTC One is sitting right next to it at full wifi bars.

Has the wifi antenna on this thing gotten worse? Or could it be some type of app?

Another weird thing I've noticed: when I'm on app drawer and hold app to put on main page, it doesn't let me move app around to place somewhere. You don't really see the app with your finger like I used to. It only shows in one place and will place it on top of whatever is there and create a folder. I then have to move it, once placed, where I want it to go...

Crazy phone!!!
