My contract with T-Mobile will be officially terminated on the 16th. After I lose my data and voice service, will my Galaxy S 4G still be functional on a WiFi connection (as far as internet and apps go)?

Yes, your wifi will continue to be fully functional. In fact, if you sign up for a Google Voice account and number, and purchase the GrooVe IP app, you can also have a fully funtional phone using the wifi connection. Other than the one-time purchase of the app, none of this will cost you a dime.
