I bought a refurb 1st gen Nexus 7 off ebay a few months ago. It came with 5.0 installed which was a nightmare. I back reved to 4.4.4 and it is now at least usable but wifi is soooo slow. I will barely get 1 bar on the wifi and speedtest shows 6mb down and then in the same room with my laptop or phone I get almost full bars of wifi and 30-40 mb down. What the heck?
I bought the Nexus mainly to use as a replacement for my 1st gen Kindle as an ereader but I would like to at least be able to surf the web which I really can't do
