Help Wifi Tethering not connecting to the internet

I'm looking for a way to connect ps3 to the internet using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4. I got the native hot spot to turn on without problems using an app called Xposed and all devices can connect but there is no Internet access. Any suggestions?

Which S4 model do you have?

I use a play store app called Wifi Tether Router and it works flawlessly on my MetroPCS S4. It's not free but it's not expensive.

It's also got the kit kat update. I had an apk that worked, the only thing wrong with it was that you had to reboot the phone to get it to work.
