Accessories Will an S4 Active Support a 256gb SD card?

Hey guys,

Before I splurge on one I just need to know if an S4 active can support a 256gb sd card. I like to take my music library with me and all my pics as I don't always have access to the cloud for streaming and I'm running out of space and having to constantly manage my music rather than just sync the whole lot.

According to this site no, only up to 64GB.
Just be sure, I also checked this site, it states the same thing.
And just to triple check, this site says 64GB max.

Those were published when the phone came out and 64 GB was the biggest you could buy.

It has an XDHC compatible controller, it ought have no trouble with larger cards.

The trick now is to find one that fits and isn't counterfeit.

You can't actually get a 256GB microsd card yet. The largest I've seen announced is 200gb - see here ... http://www.androidauthority.com/sandisk-microsd-200-gb-591354/ ... but not sure if it's on sale yet. There are plenty of 128GB cards though. See Amazon. But be wary of ones that are very cheap - lots of fakes about.

Oh, if the phone supports 64GB it will support larger. Just that, as said already, 64GB was the largest when it was announced.
