Help wont usb mount

Everything is great on my new lg eve. Posting from it right now! Problem is when I hook it up usb to my mac,it won't mount.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hey Dax,

Had the same issue. By default the phone is set to act as a modem when you connect it via usb to a comp.

To change it to act as a mass storage device you can enable the following:

Settings-->Sd card & phone storage->"Mass storage only"

And your good to go,

Yup, got that checked. Still nothing. Are you on mac or pc? Have a feeling it may be a mac specific issue...

I'm on a PC; we've got a mac at work though, Ill do my best to bring in my usb cable tomorrow and let you know the results.

Click on the screen on top of the status bar and drag down.
You'll get a Usb connected message click on it
Click mount.

Finally got home and tried usb on my pc. worked like a charm. But still no luck on my mac.

Received this reply from LG support:

"Unfortunately you will need to obtain software from Apple for the MAC OS to connect the phone to the MAC. Alternatively you can use a card reader on the computer to add the files to the MicroSD card."

Doesn't seem promising. Anyone have any idea what software I might have to obtain??

I have a MAC (Snow Leopard) and I have no problem and did not need any software.

There is also the USB mount app in the market you may want to try that
