Help xoom stock launcher not working

I purchased a xoom tablet (wi-fi only) that was a display model. The plus + icon/button is missing from the upper right corner on main home screen. I am unable to tap and see all 5 home pages on the main screen. If I tap and hold, the only option I get is to change the wallpaper - nothing else. I have soft and hard rebooted and it still will not completely reset to the full stock launcher? Any suggestions to get the full features back up? Thanks,

Not sure about the plus sign you speak of, I don't have one either. To see all five screens put two fingers on the screen and pinch in. You can add more home screens from there by tapping the plus sign there.

Oops! Forget everything I said above. Forgot I was using the GO Launcher. Those tips are for it not the stock launcher. I suggest you use the GO Launcher or Launcher Pro. Both beat the heck out of the stock launcher.
