Xperia Update to ICS and Kernel Question...

Ok, here it is.

There is an article stating that the Xperia series won't receive a new Kernel:

"Sony Ericsson Developer Karl-Johan Dahlstr
 
Based on the information I have currently available, it would be the same kernel as currently. This should not cause a problem for the features you have outlined.
