Yes. Extended batteries! Options?

As prior warpers already realized from those forums I am a battery power nutjob. I just don't like strings attached! I wanna use my device, and then when I'm ready to lay down it will get plugged in.

Anyhoo, surfing the plethora of extended batteries for the galaxy s2 on the interwebz one will realize just how many versions of the s2 there are.

I know this device is extremely similar to the epic touch 4g. My question is, do the epic touch 4g extended batteries work with this phone? Are there any others? Search queries with "boost" added to the algorithm leads to minimal results so i figured I'd come here. Thanks in advance!

Any items (such as extended battery, dock & so on ) for the model D710 will be what your seeking Sir. Hopefully that helps a bit.. Ment to add this is the sprint Epic 4G touch under the boost flag.

The Boost S2 is the Sprint Epic Tough 4G, remember that many Boost phones are re-branded Sprint phones to sell old stock.

Any ROM/accessory/battery will work with the Boost SGS2.

Samsung itself re-branded the phone.

Although I would enjoy an extended battery myself, I think that the back plate will look odd in a split level way. The only phone I ever liked the extended battery for was an old Nextel I use to have and only because the entire back was the battery so it looked uniform.

I was looking on youtube and found a few videos showing off extended batteries and backs for this phone. The ones I saw were not terribly huge, and were like 2200-3500 mah batteries. The difference in size was at the bottom where the hump, or lip is at the speaker, it basically takes that out and makes the back more even level, so it's only a slight difference in thickness.

Currently eyeballing that seido 3500. Looks fairly sleek for the amount of juice it has. Mugens don't seem to be available at the moment.

Don't forget to look at the reviews from actual users.

I was reading on amazon.com, and not that it's the best information to go by, but I was reading that those 2 had issues mainly after a few weeks of use, they didn't hold the charge as well. Some said at first they were great, and after like 6 weeks or so, they charge wasn't much better, if ANY better than the stock battery.
Don't know if that's true or not, or if I should scale from that to buy or not, just don't wanna buy a battery and like 6 weeks later have a dud is all.

I found one here http://www.amazon.com/QCell-Samsung...06SK5HHW/2/ref=pd_sxp_more?ie=UTF8&o=36&po=27

It says 4100mah, which I highly and seriously doubt it's THAT high more like a 3500mah perhaps, but it seems to get good reviews more so than the others did.

Most don't even know or care if the battery works right, but "me" I'm a geek/nerd/techy/IT person and I wanna know if it's gonna crap out on me down the road, so those few comments that really DO say what the battery is like, I have to go with those few as compared to the many in this case, because many just really don't know the ins and outs of stuff, they just know it works and they have an extended battery, or a new thing that works.
