wait what!!! i live 2 mins from polaris.....where at? i wonder if its possibly one of the sprint stores or best buy...its not even on the schedulle to be put in yet is it?
I was at Busch Stadium on 6/30 with my Sprint HTC EVO and did NOT get 4G coverage at any time in the stadium. 3g data service was functional 2 hours before the game (I posted a facebook photo), but during the game it was unusable.
I use gmail, live, yahoo and a private IMAP server and none were responsive during the game. One outbound IMAP/SMTP message was 'sending' for well over an hour.
Unfortunately, that also meant my phone sucked its battery almost empty during the game and was on the 'red/plug in immediately' level when I returned to my car. I did switch to Airplane mode at one point and started checking messages occasionally. Note: NOT on an airplane. In a stadium.![]()
Having read the the Clearwire June 28th announcement, made the experience a bit frustrating but it was a good day for a game.
