Angry Birds Beta 2

Newbie
Just got my e-mail from Rovio saying the 2nd beta is in the app market. I still can't get it to show up(2.1 Captivate Rooted). I don't know if it's any different than the first beta. Hopefully someone throws the .apk up again.
 
thats odd because I didnt get any email. It's fine with me, though, because I'm still working on getting one more 3-star rating. I'm stuck on one of the maps LOL
 
Yeah, I just got the E-mail too, but having a HTC Hero, also can't see it in the market. I also noticed that Rovio have recently been stating they are not going to support the Hero. Lame.

If anyone can get the .apk uploaded again that would be fantastic!

It may be the same version as far as levels go, just with some of the bugs fixed. I'm fine with that because it means it's a step closer to a full release. I'm guessing you had the same experience as me with the game where you had no bugs, crashes or other issues?

would force close on start every once in awhile but other than that it ran great, check the link I posted

Download Angry Birds Lite Beta for Mobile

this was in the email that I got.
 
I was able to download an update, but I didn't notice any new levels or anything significant. I know my buddy couldn't get it to run on his evo, maybe they solved that issue.
 
This is a beta of the lite version that will be offered on the market, you will have to purchase the whole game once it is released for more levels. The beta version has one or two more levels than the lite iPhone version has.

The original version I still have on my phone is v1.3.5. Maybe the site isn't updated with the new one yet.

We know it's just a beta. They sent out emails today saying they had a new version of the beta released(assuming it has bug fixes in it). Until someone get's the new version installed and running, we don't know though.
 
Guys, it's a beta. They are not going to add levels on the free beta, just add stability...

...which is nice because with this new update, the game actually starts on my EVO without having to start it ten times and look like I'm having sex with my phone to get it to work.
 
I tried to install the update for this (and Fruit Ninja for that matter) and both download but say installation/update unsuccessful. I tried rebooting phone to no avail. Anybody have any ideas?
