Just saw this on a newsfeed. One of those series I can't believe was dropped. The few episodes were awesome as was the movie Serenity. Looks like its just reruns. Really got my hopes up. Might be a chance with the fanbase that this could get something rolling for it. Not sure. Checkout the link. LINK

I used to watch firefly on joost before hulu was around....Joost... hmm I wonder if it's still around?
 
At first read I really thought they were making more episodes. The fanbase has always wanted it back on air in production. I never saw it on television just say the boxset and movie. Pretty cool stuff and the characters are people you can really get into.

I didn't realize it was Summer Glau that was starring in The Cape at first. I was happy when I realized it though.

I wish Wolowitz hadn't completely shafted Raj. Having Summer as a recurring character on BBT would have been pretty sweet. They would have made a cute couple too.

She's also cancer to any show. I see her in a show I know I'm going to enjoy watching her for one season if I'm lucky. I swear every show she's in gets cancelled early.

Firefly - 14 episodes
Terminator : Sarah Connor Chronicles - 30 episodes
The Cape - 10 Episodes

Not to mention she became a recurring character on Dollhouse and promptly caused it's cancellation. She's like a hot girlfriend who's psycho. She's poison to be around, but damn is she hot so it's almost worth it. She drives over to your mom's house, eggs the place and keys your mother's car and you want to dump her, but you know the make up sex is going to be mind blowing. Not that that's ever happened to me.
 
the cape was stupid...

i could not even finish the first episode... 20 mins in.. i lost all interest
it needed to die..

All those shows aired on Fox.. So I'd say that Fox is the cancer. Summer just happened to be there :-p
 
The Cape is already canceled? Wow! The curse of Glau. You might be on to something. But I like the idea that its Fox and the AADD people running the program lineups.

I found it absolutely riveting.

In fact - I think I'll scare it up and watch it tonight.
 
I love this thread! Firefly was one of the best shows ever. If you watched Angel, you can see how many places Whedon could have taken these great characters if given the time. And I can't believe anyone who liked Farscape didn't know about that movie. Still can't compare to Firefly/Serenity though.
