Nexus One for Verizon Wireless Spring 2010

Yeah but with the limited choice of TMo plans and Verizon's high prices, they basically ruled out any affordable options for multiple lines. I need either a Sprint plan or a TMo family plan. Looks like I get to wait for a better phone to come out on Sprint later on in the year.

Based on the press conference, it looks like VZW coverage will look like an unlocked phone at the full $530 and buying a plan separately, but no subsidy for the phone.

Actually they just said you can buy it unlocked and use it on AT&T, but it will only run at EDGE speeds.

of couse you can use the unlocked on any GSM carrier, but what's the point if you can't use 3G since it is way faster than EDGE...may have to wait for X10

Told ya Verizon would get it. Tech I spoke with at Verizon on friday was VERY confident about the Nexus coming to Verizon.

I wonder what Spring 2010 is...that's anytime between now and April really... I also would love to know how much I'm looking at to sign a new 2year with VZW.

hahah. Anyone watching the live stream hear that local news channel lady ask, "Why would anyone spend $500+ on this phone when you can get an iphone for $99"

Oh geez...

There's been a lot of ppl saying that VZW employees hav been saying they will train on the passion soon. Do they really mean this phone?

Sanjay said that DROID will get N1 software and the competition begins between Moto and HTC for building the best Android phone! Yay! I hope the 2.1 release is in the next couple of days as Rubin said. I want it on the DROID!

actually it looks identical to the eris....so why is verizon adding another version of a phone they just released...it has an added flash is the biggest difference i see.

The screen is bigger, android 2.1, LED Flash for the camera...many differences...no hardware buttons.

yeah lots of differences....

no sense ui being one of them, but im sure it is more of a "performer" then the eris is.

I was disappointed initially hearing the N1 wasn't coming with Sense, but that demo they did today was great...i'm completely sold on this phone.
