Explain your username!

Saltine: When Halo 2 first came out, my friends and I gave each other nicknames or codenames based on what we were eating at the time. I was eating saltines, hence saltine.

713: My grandfather served on a US Navy Destroyer, 713.

My normal nic for years has been "MetalMusicAddict". Some forums (like this one) won't allow that many characters. So, it gets shorter. (but still apt) :)

9to5 - time when most people work (myself not included)
cynic - i'm a bit on the cynical side.

nothing too tricky here. No latin like some posts back.

Not really a lot to explain. The "Drizzle" part comes from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I go by "The Drizzle" on a lot of forums, but sometimes the name is taken, so I improvised. The "Hammy" part just popped in my head one day while I was trying to figure out a variant username on a forum that had my usual name already taken. I think it looks funny, so I just kept it. :D

Well, my name here (and for forums) was a spurt of the moment type thing.

Initially, I use Bacon676 for everything. Games, online name, etc.

It all started back around 4th grade when I found out about runescape. At the time, our family had just bought into our first computer.
It was an old Hewlet Packard. Rocking somewhere around 128mb of RAM, a pentium 3 processor, windows... 98 I think? (Could be wrong).
Anywho, my friend robert came over to my house after school (rode our bikes back), and told me about this game he found online. I had never even though to use the computer for games at that point yet. I thought it was just something grown-ups used to make paper come out of copy-machines.
He went to the website (after we connected online. Yay for dialup!), and tried to register me. It needed a username. I honestly couldn't think of anything, and my dad decided to make breakfast for dinner that night. I thought of bacon, of course, so we tried that.
It was 'unavailable' because someone else already used it. The first name it suggested just below that, was of course, Bacon676. So that's stuck like glue since then.

Bacon676 just doesn't work very well across forums. I thought about it and went, 'Bacon...food...I'm a dude...Food Man!'.

TLDR;

Made my name when I was a little kid playing games. Still use it.

mine comes from the characters Amarant from Final Fantasy IX and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII...
been using it for YEARS and lately I've been wanting to change it but I can't for the life of me think of anything else.

Big Ed is a long time nick name, I was using it as a screen name playing Wolfenstien:Enemy Territory when somebody said it was too plain. At the time I was training in Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryuu so I added samurai to the front and it just stuck.

I wanted a different user name than my usual one and a client happened to walk in my office as I was thinking and commented on the vibrance of my baby blue eye color.....so it stuck.

"Frisco" is Ocsirf backward, and my very first car was a 1956 Ocsirf (candy apple red, diamond button tuck bucket seats, baby moons, 283 punched out to 301, positraction, 8 track player, swimming pool, popcorn machine, steam heat, two lane bowling alley and king sized bed).

It was a compact, but I do miss that car.

:D

ha cool! m if only I believed you..

However, Office of the Chief Scientist, Integrated Research Facility

Mine has a bit of a story behind it:
I started a new job, and one of the network techs came in and said, "Your user name is X and your password is Y." I typed it in, and it didn't work. The tech scratched his head in confusion and left.
A second tech came in and said, "Your user name is X and your password is Y." I typed it in, and once again, it didn't work. The second tech scratched his head in confusion, and left.
The first tech shows back up, announces my user name and password; same result.
The second tech shows back up....I think you get the picture.
After a couple more of these, the first tech comes in and says, "Your user name is mcduck and your password is Y!" It worked.

After that, mcduck kind of stuck with me as a nick name; I added the d later, but that's another saga.

Yes, the two individuals had both been trying to set up my account without talking to each other....

I made mine up.... i love the colour lilac and bleeds sounds good with it so that is how I came up with LilacBleeds :D

Eh...I don't quite recall, needed a new 'persona' online, used 'pilot' but eventually something, I think Xfire, or some other forum, needed a name, not nick but login that was more than 5 characters long.

Came up with this after thinking about, well, the sky, something that I like. Partly from Star Wars, the star part, possibly TIE Fighter Pilot, the X came out of some RP thing and possibly Digimon, and the last part was just the original flyboy.

Sounds silly but had to pull things from somewhere, I like the sky.

Oh and the stars, and space...space space...

I used to be an online gamer. Unreal, Wolfenstein, Battlefield, Battlefield 1942, etc. Yea, I'm kinda showing my age. That's when I decided on my handle. It's an expression you use when you have a task to do and you are ready to start. "Let's do it to it". Doit2it

Combination of Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Fairly obvious.

I have a tendency to be very smart and then do something batshit insane for giggles.

First letter of my first name, first 4 of my last name. And my birthday is August 3rd, 1989. Not too much of a mystery there :P
