How is the sound quality through headphones?
Sound quality is amazing with the included ear bug. It stays in place and generates great bass too. I'm loving it.

I really like the "traffic" widget. You enter whatever destination you want (home, work), and when activated, it will give you a red, yellow or green light, with a predicted travel time to your destination. Very cool, especially if you travel around your town a lot.
Just started playing around with my GS3 that arrived today, and one of the neatest little touches is the slightly curved edges of the screen. It makes swiping to the edge a lot easier.
That may change when I get a case on the phone though.
Is the screen gorilla screen? If it is, you dont need any protector on it.
Either you're joking or this is bait, right?
Benny
I don't see anything funny or anything to bait you with. Just Google gorilla glass and you shall learn.
I never use any screen protector since the nexus one.
Found this link confirmed s3 has gorilla glass screen

The screen feels and looks amazing. I almost don't want to put a screen protector on it but I know I will.
I just discovered the briefing setting in the alarm clock. It plays your alarm ringtone for a few seconds and then computer reads the current time, current weather and the day's forecast, any appointments you have that day, and the top news headline. Reminds me of the first Iron Man movie when JARVIS pops online in the morning to tell Tony the time and current surfing conditions.![]()
How about talk and surf the web at 4G speeds. I've been waiting 2 years to rub that in you know iWho's faces.
Besides, I think you can buff out scratches in the glass. If I'm wrong on that would someone please correct me. And scratches from sand would be so minor you wouldn't see them with the glass that close to the actual screen that is producing the colors and light.
Just my $.02
Apparently they do not have the software available for MAC on this allshare site. It started downloading an .exe file and mac's do not use .exe files. The most impressive feature to me is AllShare Play. I know Samsung have or are working on AllShare Control . It would be nice if they could make it so you could turn off your computer over WiFi.
I like that when I am connected to my home network the phone automatically searches for computers and displays thumbnails of pictures and music on those computers so I can surf those pics and play music from the phone itself.
ALSO, I noticed the "bluray" player that popped up when I was in the music player, when I clicked it the song from my phone automatically started playing thru my bluray surround system... I didn't have to do anything else. This kinda took me by surprise because I was used to it with my apple tv and ipad but this had no setup to do, it was all automatic!
When creating a new alarm or changing am existing one, look for "alarm type" my and change that to briefing.
Yep! In your list of alarms, click the green alarm clock icon. It will turn white to indicate it's disabled. Is there a way to disable an alarm?
C'mon....it's a phone - with a recorder waiting for your commands!!! If you're in a noisy enviroment, it stands to reason it's not going to make out your voice over all the other noises going on...but it's never let me down in normal enviroments so far!!!I realized using voice to take photo is more gimmick than real practical use. It's cool to tell you friends you can say "smile" to take picture. But in real life, it happened several times the place is noisy. I keep saying "smile" and it won't fire the picture. I look like an idiot. My friend wonder does he really have to "smile" too in order for the camera to take that picture :/
