well the gallery closing doesn't really bother me. Like when i would try to pick a picture id, it would say force close but the list is still there. so imo BH_Man i wouldn't really worry about that.
For a family guy reference, it's like when super man threw that disappearing net on the bad guy and it only stopped him for a second. "that was a minor inconvenience"

wait what was i trying to say, oh yeah good work! =)

well it doesnt change the fact i dont know how to do it. could you point me in the direction that will give me step by step instruction if its so easy then?
 
haha thanks but all it did was refresh this page. maybe im just not meant for this kinda stuff. guess ill just patiently wait for samsung to do the update. either way good work bh_man

Direction is posted directly on this page 7 here. Just take 5-10mins to read everything on THIS page and you will know.

Hints: Post # 322, 323, 324, 330.
 
i know i sound really stupid. am i supposed to download any specific drivers? i mean i dont even know how to get the zip file? or download it? im completely new. i appreciate any help. i have the odin but i dont know where to get these so called zip files?
 
1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe
2. download BH_MAN_DONUT_R1.zip
3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file.
4. follow these instruction
1. Unzip the zip file.
2. Open Up ODIN Multi Downloader
3. Click the OPS button and choose Behold2_partition.ops
4. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file (for this current release choose BH_MAN_DONUT_R1.tar.md5). You will get error message" invalid image...," but ignore it.
5. Turn off Phone.
6. Plug phone into USB.
7. Put phone in download mode (Vol Down + OK + END Button)
8. Wait till detected and press START.
9. Enjoy the Port.

4. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file (for this current release choose BH_MAN_DONUT_R1.tar.md5)
5. Turn off Phone.
6. Plug phone into USB.
7. Put phone in download mode (Vol Down + OK + END Button)
8. Wait till detected and press START.
9. Enjoy the Port.

If you load Odin up on your computer you will see how easy it realy is

Only thing I can add is on step 7 and 8 is hold 3 buttons till is says download it might take a while. Remember the stock Behold restarts slowly
 
Sooo... Im guessing this still doesn't have the camera software installed with? No thanks =/ I appreciate all the work though.
 
ok, i followed the steps and everything, got it all startup but my question is, is it supposed to say 1.5 firmware or 1.6? for some reason i have 1.5!

1) download these
4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download BH_MAN_DONUT_R1.zip

the correct drivers are included with the odin package, install the drivers
2) unzip these files by right clicking on the folder, then click extract.
3) open odin multi downloader
4) follow these directions....

4. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file (for this current release choose BH_MAN_DONUT_R1.tar.md5)
5. Turn off Phone.
6. Plug phone into USB.
7. Put phone in download mode (Vol Down + OK + END Button)

There is No way to Port the BH2 Camera Software... There is, But I'm not spending that many Hour's in the frameworks & smali.... Just not doing it!
