Where's JellyBean???

I can't believe the Samsung Galaxy Ruby (on at&t) got Jelly bean before us. at&t is a joke!!!!!!

I saw that. I think it's mostly a function of samsung having the money to push their updates through, or (and this is completely a conspiracy theory) paying at&t to hold back the htc updates. (i wouldn't put it past at&t to take money and do that at this point)

They've done ur before with Apple.

I really wish someone could force their way into the at&t labs and demand an explanation for the slowdown... And get a real answer. HTC originally said October. Granted, that was for international models, but it shouldn't take more than a month to pass carrier testing. And to those who say that at&t didn't get the update to look over in October, yes they did. I asked them about it in early November (i asked htc) and they said they'd released the update to at&t for testing already. So the blame lies totally on at&t

HTC has normally been good with updates even through carriers but this is pretty ridiculous. Makes me wonder if they even want to support the One X since there One X + is already out with JB.

Wish they would hurry up, I'm still waiting on JB.. My family has it on their Motorola Zoom tablet, O2 have started rolling it out from the 4th. Just need Three to do it.

Three were pretty quick with there previous roll outs. But like other providers they are taking time to ensure the finished bloatware has no bugs...cynic I am

I really don't think AT&T is going to get it. I really don't.

As much as AT&T has proven they dislike their consumers, I don't think even they would be willing to get the kinda backlash that refusing to give us the update will. Especially with the root option available, they wouldn't want vast majorities of their users suddenly rooting and dropping off to custom ROMs they can't control.

(and I say that because the conspiracy theorist in me says that, with this phone being so raved about, if AT&T refuses to release the update, at least one major news outlet will publish a how-to on rooting the phone) Actually quite unlikely, but I'm just so annoyed at this point...

EDIT: Just called and talked to tech support. They didn't seem to have any idea when it'll be released. I wish there was a line we could use to call straight into their labs to get real answers.

Well I honestly have lost all hope in this update ever happening anytime soon.

Me too. It blows because I have the Nexus 7 tablet, and google now is really cool, but not that useful to me becasue I don't carry the Nexus around with me. Some of this Google Now stuff would be really cool to use on the phone.

I just got this response from A&T on Twitter:

@chief113 Sorry, we don't have any news at this time. Please follow @ATT for announcements and updates. Thank you!

I called both AT&T and HTC about the Jelly Bean update and neither one had any idea when the update for the One X would be released. So much for it coming out in early January lol.

if only there were a way to start a firestorm about how they fail at telling us things about updates.
