Yeah usually the rule of thumb I use is that if No instructions for a rom are given it will be most likely the instructions you usually follow when flashing
 
Would a ROM like this change the default SD card path to use external? Or is that something that can't be helped?

Sorry if the question seems stupid, but I just have never read into the S3's ROM's enough to know if this is a possibility.

Okay so i just experienced the scariest thing with this rom today!! My FIRST LAG!!! NO BUT SERIOUSLY... Im watching a movie on Netflix on my Xbox using tethering from my phone while it's charging.. All of a sudden a phone call comes in .. So i answer. I have a 3-5 minute conversation.. Then finally as soon as I'm about to hang up and press the big red button.... THE PHONE FREEZES!!!! Like i couldn't even hard reboot my phone by holding down power.... I had to literally remove the battery... :/ what's going on??????!!!!!

Amigo i think this is a rom problem because im having the same problem, my phone freezes and like you said holding the power button doesn't do anything, the only way to reboot the phone is by removing the battery:(

Yea:( .. Well I'm still running it at the moment. I changed my kernel to linaro kernel to see of the issue smoothes out. And well it's been a couple minutes and no issues

The same thing has happened to me 3 times. Once it froze DURING my call. :mad:

I flashed a custom kernel and so far it hasn't done it today. Who knows though. All began with 1.4

I flashed the MMS fix posted above and it worked for a day , now MMS is failing and says "service not activated on network" .

I did backup my nv.. I get very poor service when I used to get perfect service but its only me my mom and sisters are experiencing the same thing and their phones aren't even rooted they're brand new..
But anyways what should be my network settings?
 
Also I can't download the update from goo it always says md5sum does not match and when I try to download using the web it won't start the download
 
well i just got the freezing shit on the latest version i say stay on 1.3 till next update nice stuff for catching tht guys but yea stay at 1.3=] unless changing the kernal on 1.4 would help
 
yeah man im getting the freezes as well. had to pull my battery 3 times today.

hope you guys work it out as this ROM is awesome!

It's most likely just metro tower issues... If you want to check network settings go to settings and under wireless and network click on more settings...then there is a network type option it should be lte/cdma/evdo...this only works on custom roms
