Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM]Stock|Root|Odex|DeOdex LJ3|MB2|MF2

Just learned somethin important....at least for me. I don't recommend using rom toolbox to change status bar color or icons. I changed the font with no problem, but the color & icons froze me out when I rebooted. So now I have to go back & redo it all again. Duuuuuhhhhhh

yeah as long as your running the De-Odex app & FW than you should be able to flash this no prob, also got a holo patcher i made to flash over stock system because i think th tw launcher kinda sucks LOL, it's cool dont get me wrong, but lacks many features of todays 'android' standards LOL,

#2 will be coming soon, but dont have enought done for it to be worth flashing yet, still in major BETA stage, if your coming from esteem forums than you should know me by now lol, trust me guys im workin on a flashable rom every moment of freedom i have :D working on porting the multi lockscreen mod right now, so far im almost finished jus ran into a few hiccups along the way :p, and as soon as ARocker gets the screenshot & possibly inkblot mods working for us ill try porting them into it all and release a mega crap rom hahah, im already in proccess of testing some build.prop and init.d tweaks along with adding as mony mods to stock rom as possible without completely slowing it down..

my plans are to get the battery option mod, lockscreen option mod, clock option mod and many more before i release anything, dont want to keep updating a beta rom because it takes forever to upload something for this device hahaha

Cool om running the odex one and its running nice and smooth battery life great too the only thing i don't see is the big weather notification by ARocker I have the lock screen fine and the 4 way boot but no weather yet don't know if I did something wrong but can anyone confirm it

yeah for some reason the big weathe mod don't work on aosp lockscreen, so i still need to do some reading LOL, dont worry guys there will be a #2 sooon enought :D

does anybody know how i can toggle data (not by the way of turning off data completely)on this rom 3g/4g/1x? like other roms? it seems they all have it except for this rom and metropolis
 
init.d scripts from system tuner don't seem to work...anyone use that and having the same problem...apply after boot works fine I just like init.d better

yeah... i said that because incase you didn't notice, the weather is not showing up on aosp lockscreen... not for me anyway lol so apparently it only works on the tw stock lockscreen... does that clear it up a tad?

set the phone perfect the way i like it

-wipe cache & dalvik cache (just for safe measures)<---- worried

lol actually had a few set backs, took a few days off and now im starting over from scratch, got the statusbar almost how i want it, than once i do ill start re-adding mods lol, plus im testing a few battery tweaks etc.. so it'll be a few days lol but progress continues.. :D

Great. honestly not on any rom except for you debloated deodexed framework on stock rom.

So I can't wait till you release it :)

coming from the connect I know how big a difference #2 can make ;)

yeah, I rocked his #2 on my old esteem. My gf still rocking hers. She can't afford an s3 yet lol.

Seeing how the Search function never works for me here, I'mma ask something that's probably been asked: What's the difference(s) between this one and Metropolis?

I've been a huge fan of #2 on the Esteem, so I'm hella curious about this one Drifta.

lol as of noe this rom on this thread is just pure stock lj3 and or mb2, with a few root/handy additions.. i have a #2 in the works based off the mb2 release.. but honestly i mean we have sooo many ported roms with really awesome features and additions so it'll be hard for me to compete LOL, only advantage me & shabby have is our roms are actually based off the Metro update and not just a port from another device..

as of now i did some small theming, mostly focused on statusbar (it looks pretty cool too LOL) got a few build.prop tweaks im trying with i think 2 init.d scripts, and some pretty cool mods added to it :D

-removed keyboard icon from statusbar
-aosp lockscreen
-home button lag fix
-metro internet homepage set to google.com (hate metro.mobi site lol)
-also 4-way reboot option thanks to arocker :D

been trying to add more here and there but some of these guides are shady and require replacing whole smali methods which never end up working correctly so i'll limit the modding untill further notice.. but it's coming along nice.. probly upload another test soon ;)

EDIT: to naswer your question, i think there no difference, but if metropolis has any mods or tweaks added than that would be the difference LOL, his latest version is based of the mb2 update as well ;)
