how are all the nov 10 expectees holding up?

Im losing my mind, i want my black g1 so bad, i can no longer wait, so i just called tmobile and they said im on the second batch and will be getting the phone on nov 10th.
 
Terribly. I'm pretty annoyed that I could have just gone to T Mobile and bought it, but I guess I'll just have to be patient. -.-
 
the 5th i wouldn't count on that, im thinking 7th makes more sense, but hey if by the 5th that would make me really happy, but if any one gets there tracking number let the rest of us know here.

Ordered my G1 October 11 and still no tracking number. I leave town for business on the 9th, so I would REALLY be happy if it would arrive prior to departure! :)
 
I called last night and am officially on backorder status. She said I should get it between the 4th and the 10th. I ordered the brownze*... I am going nucking futz...
 
OMG! I ordered my g1 on october 8th and I finally got ups info i should have it by tomorrow. THIS IS NOT A JOKE i was told i wouldnt get it till November 10th but its coming tomorrow. My sisiter who ordered on Oct. 6th also has tracking info. I live in Detroit Michigan and its coming from Louisville, KY

o mann your soo lucky yours has shipped but then again you did order it on the 11th, so good too hear, i ordered mine on the 22nd and i still have no tracking info, i called tmobile and they said im on back order as well and should have it by the 7, 10 the latest, so im hoping for a miracle and see tracking info early.

You ordered YESTERDAY???! WOW, all I can say is you better be prepared to wait in line with the rest of us, but since it was yesterday, you are near the rear! ;)
 
Well I can say that I was over at the Tmobile G1 forums the past three days and here is the update.


If you ordered your phone between the 3rd and the 22nd (the second pre order phase) your phone will be shipped out between this past Monday and the friday (27th through the 31st).

And I can faithfully say from the way it looks from all the post over there, they are doin them by days. Last I checked they just hit the 12th of October today (even tho I ordered on the 12th so I am looking at UPS constantly)

Another thing I noticed was that alot of people weren't gettin info on UPS UNTIL their order was practically sent for delivery. In other words, their phone was minutes away from their front door by the time UPS showed their phone was out for delivery.

And yes, Tmo will show your phone as on backorder even tho UPS has it.

I wish I could find that thread, but it got to 81 pgs and got locked. Now I cannot find it. But you can call Tmo CC and ask if there are any updates on shipping dates and they will tell you about the shipping date change.

As for anyone who ordered on the day of release and onward, well they say the black g1 will be shipped on the 31st and the bronze will be shipped on the 5th of November. After that they should be able to take care of everyone.

yea ive already called tmo like 20 times and they said the latest i should have it buy is the 10th...so till then im jus looking at reviews and unboxin vids on youtube givin myself a lil bit of ummm.....foreplay:D
 
I am so insane with the wait that I was forced to go buy a new PC. Lol! Any excuse to buy new toys ya know. :p
 
Just checked and still no tracking info for me. I bought mine on the 21st. Its strange that t-mobile sent me text this morning thanking me for upgrading to the g1 and to click the link to learn how to use my phone. I even checked my T-mobile account and it shows the g1 as my default phone.

I bet EVERYONE at tmobile is running around waving their hands in the air, going "WTF???"

i kno this is kind of a stooopid question...but when u get the text saying youve been charged for the phone...does that mean it shipped?...cause i got that text then called tmo to make sure and they said it didnt ship...but i read somewhere on here that it mightve shipped even tho tmo says it might still be on back order and theres no shipping info on ups
