There might be a reason that it was answered directly to you. Most likely since it's been answered multiple times on the forum and pretty sure in this thread. So it goes back to my original statement.............SEARCH and you'll find what you're looking for.

I'm all for helping people understand how to get what they are looking for, but when I see certain people posting about basic issues over and over it just seems to me that they aren't doing their homework and making sure the topic hasn't been covered by other people on the forum.

One more thing, if you're going to insult me by calling me names, make sure you know how to spell it right........it's not iidiot, it's idiot.........what a genius......:rolleyes:

again why would somebody have time to post a comment on some one asking a simple question that can be answered in less time than whatever bogus stuff u type . just asnwer> (my bad misspelled word , i meant answer,happy??!) the question and stop torchering people .sheehzz. search this and search .ugghh. its painfull to search what 42 pages and like 40 coments each page . its not easy . i get headaches cause of that.

you need to be on the Jerry Springer show with all your energy, We have 42 pages and 40 comments each page BECUZ of YOU. i also think that you are the reason BH_man left for another forum.

We all have had the same exact issues as you and they are answered in this thread, if you dont understand instructions , then create a new thread and ask your question, You have pissed off alot of people on this forum. You will not get help by fighting with people. We all told told you READ THRU THE POSTS....Then if ya didnt understand something, then and only then, go and start a NEW different thread asking for detailed instructions ,but judging from the way u have acted on this forum , im guessing you are a 15 year old little boy with no life, that is why u are arguing with everybody and not following the simple instructions everybody has givin you, which were, READ THRU THE POSTS, and then ask for help in a NEW thread. very simple instructions.

ive done preety good last time i got 23hrs with avg use and got 40% battery life . and now i got like 2hrs 30 mins = 94% light to avg use.


so far i think i could get at least 30 hrs .!

which is great !

i remember when i had stock 1.5 twiz or open hoome replacement it still had a bug where when i would discharge the phone from 100% it would drop down to 95% . i hated the phone back then sorta except the badass music player effects , equalizer , cover flow/ and the camera software already installed !.

but know i like it even more.

i got this phone for $220 all with shipping without contract brand new with everything and box i ithink i did good but i think i could have gotten a lil cheaper but hey u can never find anything cheaper cause theres always a point where something will cost less u know.

hey i found out something .with the new final release and even back then this seems to happen

sleep bug

when its charged to a pc or laptop it seems sleep bug is on behold 2 which means anyh button will wake it up. but i havent tried it on while chargin but prob same thing . anyways when i take off the cable or usb cable from laptop it seems the bug goes away and this is making my behold 2 get at least some 15 hrs of avg- to heavy usage. which is good !


last time i had 23 hrs with light to avg usage !

anyways i noticed this .

but u have to let it go black for like at least 30 secs then nothing will wake it up except end or lock unlock button on side . just found this out. idk if anyone has. its weird.
 
i can go for at least 1%-2% of battery dropping for at least 8-10 mins of time if used light to average . but if i leave it on sleeping i can at least get like 25 mins without it changing . its GREAT!


anyways i think avg i havent perfectly found out but i have been through some predictions over some of my batt life . seems like 25-30 hrs if used very light - light usage.

16 - 21 hrs if avg usage .


10-15 avg - heavy usage.


hey someone said 50 hrs .!!?? are u serious?!!! that seems a lot ! wish i could accomplish that but hey i still like my battery life than what it used to be with stock 1.5 cupcake t/wiz crap
. i could even hardly use the phone with t/wiz cause of horrible life. but not now, i use the phone 5 xx as more and still have sorta better battery life

The reason is that you're need to learn like everyone else on the forum on how to do this. We are not here to hold anyone's hand like a child through these steps. Most of the time it states, if you don't feel comfortable doing this do not attempt.

The only reason why I brought up your spelling is that the system on here checks your spelling by underlining the mis-spelled word with a red line for you to check it.

As for not wanting to search through 40+ pages...........that's just laziness plus the reason why this thread is that long is due to you posting every other 5-10 posts for "freaking" out about something and requesting people to reply back ASAP. So now it causing everyone to search 40+ pages to find what they need.

Just for your reference, I'm averaging 50+ on a single charge with average usage.

I'm going to answer this once. Not all device are made equal. Your Mileage may vary. Here's how I find out where my battery life stands.

1. Fully charge battery while OFF.
2. Turn phone ON.
3. Remove ALL the widgets from all your screens.
4. Turn everything else OFF but leave the following ON:
-----3G
-----50% Brightness
5. Use "Battery Left" app (download if needed) and press "menu" then hit "Re-calibrate"
6. Turn phone OFF then ON again.
7. Use phone like normal, but avoid plugging it in to any USB cable to prevent charging.
8. Once the phone dies on its own, re-charge phone again while its OFF.
9. Turn phone on and run "Battery Left" app again. This time it'll tell you basically the "baseline" of your battery life.

I got 30 hours doing this. From there, I cranked up Brightness to 100%, added all the widgets I like and GPS ON only when needed. Used the phone till it died. Fully charge it again while OFF. Checked "Battery Left" app and it tells me with the way I like my phone setup, I can only get 16 hours of use. With that I can live with. Knowing that if I turn off some of the stuff I enabled, I can achieve up to 30 hours.

Of course, if your baseline is grossly low, then its your battery. Some people have done the initial "baseline" test while the phone is literally not used until it dies on its own. This tells them "standby" time of their phone.

I hope this helps. To find this posting, just "SEARCH" the word "battery" or "battery left". It should bring this post back up.
 
Great but one problem. With e final installation I did, it says the default keyboard is Better Keyboard. I see the little mic icon on the keyboard and it says i need a speech recognition engine for this phone. Any ideas?

You might need to download the Text to Speech application from the market. See if that helps.

No the problem is not text to speech, its voice recognition. The behold 2 doesn't have software that take your speech and puts it into written text. Download r12 and use the Better Keyboard and see your yourself.

The Problem is the Voice don't work on the Galaxy Rom port of 1.6... It's a Known issue & Effect other stuff as Well.. You can Push the VoiceSearch.apk but don't expect Voice Search to work, as it has Bugs in it with this Rom..
 
Does everybody that has installed the R12 , have the black search bar ?


i dont mind if its not included in the rom, but if some people have it and others dont, then i might have done something wrong, i know in the OP it sez its included .
