Official 4G/WiMAX Coverage Areas

I get 4G without any bars in Clarendon. I work on K St. downtown near McPherson Sq and get 0-1 bars. I don't get a.y Sprint service at all in my apartment.
 
I can get it on the Red Line from Twinbrook to Shady Grove. It drops off very quickly after Shady Grove, though. Clearwire claims I will have full coverage at my house in Derwood in a few months....we'll see.
 
Has anyone else around the Michigan St. / downtown area noticed intermittent issues with signal strength? (very intermittent, like 1-2 times per day or so) I usually have very full signal, and lately it's been going down for a while. Just before I got the phone, my Pre would even roam briefly.

I'm going to attribute it to network work and upgrades :) (4G!!)

I have no bars as I type this... and texts aren't going through.
 
I picked up 4G this lunchtime in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara (AMC Mercado Area). Got 2-3 bars, tested at 3Mbs down, 1Mbs up, 1xxms latency. Not bad, especially considering I wasn't expecting 4G here until August+.

1.8~3Mbps down, always hit the 1mbps up cap
Was getting approx 0.4~0.8mbps down and about 0.5mbps up on 3G in the same area.
 
yeah nothing in san francisco yet. i have a perfect view of sutro tower, come on guys!! haha

how do you some of you guys see bars for 3g? my evo does not show me 3g bars.

Old metro hospital - 3 bars

I seriously pulled off on to a side street on my way home from work in order to taste the 4g goodness.
 
I just did another test. Something is up today. Here are the results. I'm in a downtown Honolulu office. I've had tests reported over 1 MBps before from the same office.

4g: 316 kbps down / 984 up
3g: 350 kbps down / 469 up
 
if you're using that speedtest.net app, try another server.

i dunno why people swear by that thing. depending on the server you ping, it could be fast or slow. i tried different servers one day. for the honolulu server, i had slow 3g speeds. heck, uploads were faster. yet when i switched to kentucky or san fran, it showed much faster speeds.

weird, huh?

I was down town for festival over the weekend, I got two bars also. Never speed tested though.

Might mean something if I lived downtown but I don't so blah. :(
