Woohoo! I'm actually getting a little bit (one bar) of 4G sitting at my desk. I work just south of dowtown.

I'm getting about 2.3 down on speedtest, which is not great, but I can't complain at all since it's faster than 3G and we're not even supposed to have 4G yet. It's fast enough to stream HQ YouTube without a hitch.

Here's hoping it keeps improving and that they continue the rollout in this area!

Just for giggles, I turned Evo's 4G on here in Memphis ... nothing :) Figured it was worth a shot if they're quietly rolling these things out.

It is also on in Nashville (Rivergate area and downtown coming in on Ellington Pkway) I actually get 1 to two bars in my house...fastest I have seen is 3.24 mbps

Oh yeah

Check out sprint TV on 4G; it's MUCH better than it is over 3G. Wow, and I'm only getting one bar of 4G, but it's good!

I live in orange county which is just south of L.A. Do you think I'll be able to pick up 4g coverage?

Hey Grand Rapids people, with you and your 4g signals... (lucky!)

Can you tell me when the Taste of Grand Rapids festival is this year? I'm getting some conflicting information from different sites... I know this isn't the right place to ask, but it's the only spot I know of with people from the area. :)

Hey, I live in Santa Ana and have not picked up a 4G Signal is most of the city. I also drive around Garden Grove, Westminster, Costa Mesa and HB a lot and still have not picked any 4G signal. I was in Irvine today (around UCI) and again no 4G signal. Guess I'll just have to be patient.

There are ClearWire antennas showing up on antennasearch.com in areas down to Irvine. I'm like Lake Forest but work in Cypress. There is no ClearWire antenna by my house but there are several by my work. Can't wait to test out 4G!

I am in Anaheim and there are 2 Wimax towers that will support 4G right around the convention center across from Disneyland. This area makes sense to support 4G as you have a TON of tourists, business people at conventions and hotels in the area. Question is, when will they get signal coming from them? Hope soon.

I'm suspecting 4G will land sometime in the summer for LA/OC. Hopefully, southern OC will be covered too. I completely agree with you about Anaheim 4G coverage. I'd hate for people to have to wait in line for space mountain with only 3G coverage. (or Knott's for that matter) It just wouldn't be right :)

Most reps say 4g in LA/OC was slated for this summer but this winter or even next spring at the latest is most likely. We all know it's coming but the hard part is finding out when and how far it will stretch. I'm fortunate to live in anaheim where it's for sure to hit but I'm not circling any dates on my calendar. I'm real excited to hit up Vegas for 4th of july weekend though so I can test out what this 4g hype is all about. I plan on bringing all the wifi capable electronics we have in the house to test out the mobile hotbot feature.

I'm going to New Jersey this weekend, and I was wondering how good is the 4G signal and bandwidth is. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I would say if you are in Cherry Hill which is across the river from Philly you may pick up a weak signal, but other than that, I would say you are out of luck.. I fly into Newark once a week and have never picked up a signal from NYC which is about 14 miles away. I will be in the Princeton area visiting my parents this weekend and will try, but doubt I will get anything.
I am still waiting for a signal here in Cleveland.. We are slated to get it at some point soon..
Don't you get 4g in Houston? I was not able to at George Bush Airport.. Got a signal, but could not hold it..
San Antonio was the only place I had a full 4g signal at the hotel.. Awesome. Was getting 3 up almost 1 down.. Good luck.

I finally got a very good strong 4g signal here in nyc with the EVO, the bad news. Only on the Williamsburg bridge. But at least I now know the EVO can connect.

That's to bad. Do they at least have 4G in the airport? I was debating whether I'll bring my laptop or not.

Sent using my HTC Evo 4G.

I was able to pick up some 4G signal in the Hackensack area. I was pleasantly surprised. Using Speed Test, I was able to clock two different tests, one at about 2.5 Mbits and another at around 3.5 Mbits. Horrible upload speeds, though.

Obviously it is not fully deployed, but I do hope that that speeds increase, as I really wouldn't call these 4G speeds.

Sorry if this has been asked already but I couldn't find an existing thread.

Does anyone have any educated guesses on when we'll have 4G access in New York? I'm in Manhattan and I'm patiently waiting. Ok not THAT patiently.

The people at the Sprint store won't commit to any dates. They we'll have it "some time this summer". Anyone else know more?

Thanks!
