  • To all who are inquiring, I no longer work for metropcs. Sorry I won't be able to assist you with any further news. Thanks and You've all be great!
    Cont.

My contract is up with VZN in Feb. Last re-up believe it or not I got them to give me a $400 credit for a two year reup! I DO NOT think they will do that again. (They tried to weasel out of it until I sent them the MP3 of the phonecall...:D ) It's probably going to be time for me to bail on them.

Assuming they don't start selling the Galaxy S3 for $199 for Christmas :santaclaus: Is the Motion or the Esteem my best Metro choices between say Christmas and Feb?

I'd also be interested in any skinny on where to get the best deal on an Esteem if it's close to my X.

    Much thanks,

    Bruce in Ocala, FL
I'd like some info if you could spare a few. (Re; first the Motion and the your Esteem on Metro)

Right now I'm with Verizon and a Droid X that I'm pretty happy with. Except the $. :( I used an Optimus for a month a couple years ago that may have also had a 3.5" screen and I didn't find that too bad but that was before the Droid X. Though I like the DXs screen, the phone actually is a little larger than I'd like.

I am concerned the step down in Screen Size though will bother me. But, on the other hand, no one seems to complain about the size of the Motion's screen so maybe not.

Am I correct that your Esteem is close in specs to my Droid X? Even Wirefly's $329 is too rich for me but I see there are plenty on The Bay like new for $250-275, and that's attractive.

Hey Mister, Hey What part of nor-cal are you in when i first got my esteem, first thing I did was download the bench mark app and speed test. til jan 12th i was running dl at 11mbs and ul at 7, a fluke? I also had version A on my first esteem. my second one was c and i had to downgrade to b.
hey buddy. hows everything? I been reading your inside infos and I been really wondering if metro is in fact limiting their lte bandwidth. I been searching all around but I quite can't find that metro is going to increase the speed and that is it now capped. would appreciate some clarification, and sorry if I'm being selfish. :) thanks
