I got a Nexus 5 on Straight Talk (T-Mobile) and the SIM card is activated. I see bars but it doesn't show the letters and whatever. I believe i have to make a custom APN. Anyone has a custom APN that will help me out?

I love my Nexus 5 and I'm rooted with CM11 and Franco Kernel. I get at least 10 hours of battery life, but only 2 hours of SOT :( What ROM has great battery life or what is your setup with your ROM? :)
